Stephanie Laserna

Stephanie Laserna

Support Group Facilitator

Stephanie graduated from UNC Charlotte in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Business and a concentration in Finance. Her career began in accounting with a large bank in Charlotte but she quickly realized the corporate world was not where she wanted to be when she and her husband were ready to start a family. This led to a 13-year career with a successful home-based business, where she was called upon often to teach money management classes and write training materials for the sales force. This was instrumental in her developing a passion to lead others out of financial bondage, as she watched very talented women “borrow themselves out of business” over and over again.

In 2004, the Lord prompted her to resign from a lucrative 10-year leadership position in order to provide financial planning & accounting services for struggling small business owners and ministries. She was later invited to join the team of one of Dave Ramsey’s Endorsed Local Providers, where she served for over 10 years.

After working with countless individuals, families, and small business owners over the years, Stephanie realized their “money problems” were typically the “symptom” of wrong mindsets and behaviors that had to be addressed before they could successfully follow a sound financial plan. She referred numerous clients to licensed counselors.

The Holy Spirit drew Stephanie to the ministry of Life In Abundance, where she eventually discovered her calling to the Ministry of Counseling. She enrolled in Life In Abundance School of Counseling in 2018, where she is currently serving on staff and pursuing a Masters degree in Clinical Pastoral Counseling through their Certified Academic Institution (CAI) program with the National Christian Counselors Association (NCCA).

Stephanie lives in Greer with her husband of over 25 years. They have two daughters and a pet mini lop bunny. She and her family have attended Grace Christian Church in Greenville since 1995, where she serves as a singer on the praise team. She enjoys spending time outdoors, in-depth Bible studies, playing games with her family, watching a good courtroom drama, reading, organizing, bird watching, walking, biking, water sports and visiting lighthouses, beaches, lakes, parks, & waterfalls.
